Amar Restaurant

This place is flat out delicious in my opinion. Great service and the atmosphere is very relaxed kind of fancy but not really. People in there were dressed up some people were not. No judgment from what I could tell. This place would be great for date. Definitely going back to try everything. My only knock on the place is their portion size, I like to see a bit more on my plate, especially for the prices they have. Also, also my pasta would have gone great with a nice piece of bread. Go check this place out for sure.

My family and I went here to celebrate my Birthday. Some dishes are great, but I wouldn’t recommend the Ceviche for instance because it was a bit too sour the lime juice was way too much, but I personally had the pesto pasta with meat and it was grated. Anyway, I reserved and was never told I would only get two hours after my reservation time, they ended up making us leave not in a rude way but definitely could have been more professional and let me know when I made reservations. Customer service was bare minimum, the lady seemed very busy and was not friendly or polite. We spent almost $300 for a meal for 6 people including drinks and tip. It’s not the most expensive but I would not go back for that amount I rather go to better places with better food and great customer service. While the food isn’t terrible it is overpriced. I just would not recommend for a special occasion, I did not feel well treated even when they knew it was my birthday. Oh well sometimes it’s all about how you treat customers and the right attitude. But will not return again for sure.

A great, little restaurant! Fusion of Mexican and Peruvian food. Awesome service and super attentive. On the smaller side, so either be willing to wait or make reservations. Celebrated our wedding anniversary, and my wife really enjoyed and liked the place. The food was super tasty and impressed with the dishes we had (look at pics). Will totally go back.

I have been here three times and every time I come it’s such a nice experience! The ambiance is gorgeous and the food is great. This time I tried the Brazilian lemonade and it’s so refreshing and tasty. It wasn’t too sweet either. My boyfriend tried one of their new dishes which was much like a pesto with chicken and steak on top and it was very delish. I always get the Lomo Saltodo because it’s just that good. 10/10

4.5 🌟 We were greeted as soon as we walked into the restaurant. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated. The owner of the restaurant is also the owner of the Don Carbon that is right next door, and they share restrooms (just an FYI) For the appetizer we had the ceviche amar mixed, and it was very tasty and unique. My friend tried the caldo de camarón and she said it was very delicious, and had a rich spiciness to it. I tried the arroz chaufa mixto and it was VERY savory and tasty. It had a unique blend of spices and they add a lot of the chicken, shrimp, and tender beef into it. It is accompanied with a green cilantro salsa and it is also delicious. The dessert menu looked very good, but sadly we were too full to try any. The unsweetened tea was fresh. The waiter did a decent job, but for the amount of money they're charging, I expected much better service.

We absolutely fell in love with this place….the food, service and vibe. One of the best meals we have ever had….empanadas and spicy corn to start with. Truffle Fettuccine, Ribeye Tacos and Linguine Saltado were excellent. I also tried the bone marrow and was pleasantly surprised. Our kids were each given chocolate kisses, service was friendly. Please open a place in Colorado!
